The Bonnie Belle was in operation in Southern Indiana for 19 years, providing charter cruises, public dinner cruises and sightseeing cruises. The stories told by the Captain's wife, Bonnie, relate to many aspects of those years, both in the planning and development of the business and the final years of their association with their beloved boat.
As the business grew, the Captain's "need" for more also grew, so the book includes episodes of personal adventures, describing his constant need for excitement or travel. Ultimately, they had to deal with a major political challenge, one which added to the list of life-changing events.
A journey into the dreams and schemes of an unstoppable river captain who "wanted it all".
